Customs Professional
Program Information
Develop an in-depth understanding of customs laws and regulations from both the customs brokers’ industry and the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) perspective. Prepare for, or enhance, your career path with employers such as customs brokerage firms, freight forwarders and transportation companies. This program is offered through online study. Individuals who have successfully completed the Customs Professional Certificate from Seneca College will be allowed an exemption from the work experience required for enrolment in the Canadian Society of Customs Broker’s (CSCB) CCS (Certified Customs Specialist) course. Please note that any other enrolment requirements must be met. The CCS course begins each fall and additional information is available on the CSCB website.

Residency
Students must complete a minimum number of credits in this program with their registering college to meet the Program Residency requirement to graduate from the program.
